Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else has gotten the error " ODBC- cannot connect to <db name> Failed.

Using Access 2000 here.. the db and dsn are supposed to be on the local machine. but when i make a new DSN for it, it still doesnt connect. Am i missing something here?

Thanks,

Dedric Starks

    • I figured it out. It seems the last system admin here.. put the required DSN that the database was looking for on the SQL server rather than on the local machine.. *sigh*.. stuff you wish they would've just told you from the begining...
